Remote learning and ongoing uncertainty are creating unique challenges for Biola undergrad and graduate students who are still studying, seeking internships, holding down jobs, figuring out their future careers, caring for their families, following God, and discovering themselves. The Biola Counseling Center is supporting the mental health and well-being of our Biola Community during this Biola at Home semester through a variety of virtual services.
An interactive workshop where you can gain a fresh perspective on struggles and build your capacity to manage stress and make positive changes. T.E. is available at no cost to all Biola students, regardless of where you reside.
Brief, problem-solving conversations where a therapist will listen, provide support, offer resources, and help brainstorm solutions. Drop-In is available at no cost to all Biola students, regardless of where you reside, as well as faculty and staff.
Healthy connections are critical during this Biola at Home semester. Students living in California can explore life and address challenges together with others who share their same concerns in confidential, supportive small groups. Most groups cost only $5.00 per session! Individual video teletherapy is also available for students living in California.
Biola's Mental Health Awareness Week is September 28th to October 2nd, 2020. Join our community as we equip ourselves with tools to take charge of our mental health and wellness and walk the path of resiliency together, step by step.
