The center is located directly across the street from Starbucks and shares its parking areas with a Presbyterian Intercommunity Health building. The counseling center can be reached easily by walking or driving, or via biking or taking the Biola shuttle. There is a bike rack immediately to the left of the building's main entrance for those who choose to ride their bikes to the center.
If you choose to drive to the center, please be sure to park in the small parking lot located between the center and La Mirada Boulevard. If no parking is available in that lot, please park in the lower levels of Presbyterian Intercommunity Health’s subterranean parking structure. Once in the center, please proceed to the second floor to check in with the front desk. The Biola Counseling Center is ADA compliant and an elevator is available to support clients in reaching the second floor.
Biola University students, faculty, and staff are able to receive services from a pre-licensed therapist at a reduced rate.
Community clients seeking psychotherapy with a pre-licensed therapist will be charged a session fee determined by a standard sliding scale that takes into account the client's income and expenses.
For anyone choosing to see a licensed clinical psychologist for psychotherapy, sessions are $170 for an initial evaluation and $155 per session thereafter.
Fees for psychological testing are highly individualized based on the needs of the client.
Our office staff is able to discuss costs during a potential client's initial call to the center.
